Anti-Circus Rally Against Ben Hur Shrine Circus

Action for Animals has just announced a rally against the Ben Hur Shrine Circus on January 14th, 2012.

Here are the details:

What: peaceful, legal rally against animal cruelty in circuses

Target: Ben Hur Shrine Circus

When: January 14th from 10:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M.

Where: Cedar Park Center located at 2100 Avenue of the Stars in Cedar Park

Why: Any circus that uses animals abuses those animals by taking them from their families, forcing them to train and perform, shipping them in tiny cages from city to city for months on end, then selling them off when they no longer perform. We'll bring signs and banners. Please invite your friends and family, and bring your kids. We need to show that not all families support u...sing animals for entertainment.

It may be cold and rainy. Please dress warmly and bring an umbrella.

LOCATION OF RALLY:
The rally will be AT THE ENTRANCE to the Cedar Park Center along E. New Hope Drive. We WILL NOT be inside the the facility or on the grounds of the Center. If you go beyong the entrance to the Center then you have gone to far. Below is a link to the Cedar Park Center. Please take note of the location of E. New Hope Drive.

PARKING:
Parking will be on the side of the road along E. New Hope Drive.
