Sunday afternoon from 2:30 to eight, BookWoman has its own solstice party at its actual location, 5505 N Lamar Blvd. Folklorist Kay Turner presents her bookTransgressive Tales: Queering the Grimms, co-edited with Pauline Greenhill, at 3:30, and then leads the solstice ritual around 5:30, which then gives way to a six o’clock song circle with songwriters Jenny Reynolds, Elizabeth Wills and Nancy Scott.
